Although
our first week in Cuba has been plenty of amazing surprises, we began the trip
considerably scared: when the plane was about to land at the José Martí
International Airport, we got sorrounded by an aguacero -a
sudden and powerful storm-.
In
a moment, the flight turned terrifying as the turbulences shaked us
violently. My wife and I could not believe such a horrible
situation, but the man who delivered us up to the hotel after we arrived said
that this kind of phenomena is very common here. We left our luggage and
disposed to enjoy the experience.
We spent almost all our time in sightseeing the main
places of Havana, including Santa María del Mar, a paradisiacal beach. We
bought many souvenirs, knew local people and also danced with them! I think we
could appreciate every colorful corner of this city –and it felt
extraordinary-.
Thank the universe nothing bad happened during the nearly hurricane! And by the way, what a beautiful Cuban lady!
ResponderBorrarThe experience was terrifying, but I see that when you arrived you found yourself with a sexy Cuban mermaid, that was a good reward after a horrible trip;)
